Washington University in St. Louis is seeking applicants for a post-doctoral research position in seismology to analyze seismological data from projects in Antarctica, Patagonia and/or Pacific subduction zones. The focus of the position will be applying various analysis techniques to constrain the three-dimensional seismological structure of the crust and mantle using broadband seismic data. Ability to assist with fieldwork will be beneficial.
A PhD in seismology, geophysics or a related area at the time of appointment is required. The initial appointment is for one year with an option to extend to two years.
