Thread: help sac -101

Sac currently is not 64-bit native, but you can run it on a 4-bit
machine in 32-bit mode.
If you are compiling from source, please check the Readme.buildsac
file for instructions on how to do this.

* 64-Bit System

For those Building on a 64 Bit system, you need to identify the
appropriate location of the X11 lib directory and can be done like
% ./configure --x-libraries=/usr/X11R6/lib
If the configure script does not detect your system as 64 bit, you
will need to force the use of compile options -m32 by specifying
it during the configure stage.
$ env CFLAGS="-m32" ./configure --x-libraries=/usr/X11R6/lib

The problem we have is due libncurses5 we have the 64 bits version
of this library which obviously sac does not find, but when we put
a native 32 bits libncurses library in /lib sac displays a Floating
Point problems. Is there any fix for this problen ? do you know any
way of running sac-101 in 64 bits platforms?. We can run without
problems sac 57 in the sane equipment.
