Hi Folks-

This is a nice slow week and it seems like the best time to take care of some needed patches and maintenance on the MUSTANG system, including the database server.

The plan is to take down MUSTANG services around 10 AM with 1 to 2 hours of downtime. I hope this will not cause a large inconvenience for any of our users.

Thanks,

-Rob

    An update-

We are in the process of bringing the database server back up, but there are some OS library dependencies that are being fussy and refusing to complete the boot sequence, so our downtime for MUSTANG access is being extended until we can sort this particular issue out. Thank you for your patience.

      Hi MUSTANG users-

The database server came up around 12:30 PST and the MUSTANG services began to register restored capability shortly thereafter. There will be some further work conducted on the database for maintenance and cleanup, but there are no further anticipated outages at this point. Please feel free to resume normal activity.
