Good afternoon,

I currently have a Java process that needs the integers from the
waveform/tract in order to work.

I am hoping that you all have a library/program/etc... that can assist me
in converting SEG-Y data to those list of integers. Some of the metadata
would be useful...but mainly the waveform data.

Thanks,

    Hi Wyatt,

There's no IRIS software that I know of to do this, but I found this project on the SeisCode website:
    https://seiscode.iris.washington.edu/projects/jrg
"JRG is a basic seismic reflection and image processing package with portable graphics, instant record animation, 3-d and crooked-line capabilities, SEG-Y and sound file I/O, and a convenient GUI that runs on any machine."
It sounds like data conversion isn't the main focus, but it probably includes a library you could use.

I also found a list of libraries here:
    http://subsurfwiki.org/wiki/List_of_seismic_software_libraries
I don't know how current or complete this list is, though.

    Cheers,
    Adam
