Job Summary:
Kinemetrics is seeking an Application Geophysicist/Engineer for the Seismology and Earthquake Engineering marketplace to own and drive the and Technical and Business aspects of strategic enterprise mostly in the Asia Pacific marketplace. You will be partnering with our local representatives and a strong team of peers to: differentiate the Kinemetrics products and solutions from our competitors, create lasting customers by positioning the unique business value they are looking for and most importantly, create raving fans of Kinemetrics throughout your area of influence.
Responsibilities:

* Serve as a single-point-of-contact for the region
* Advise and support customers and clients on our suite of seismological products and services
* Prepare and present unique and insightful solutions and proposals
* Attend tradeshows and scientific workshops
* Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Systems to deliver an outstanding customer experience
* Maintain competitor intelligence
* Identify and target new business opportunities
* Pursue contract renewals
* Promote awareness of new products and services


Qualifications:

* Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the Geosciences or Electrical Engineering
* Willingness to travel where and when needed within territory of responsibility
* Fluent in Chinese preferred

* Ability to think at a strategic level rather than product or volume sales
* Strong interest in understanding the science
* Ability to teach technical subjects to customers
