Postdoctoral Fellow in Remote Sensing (1 Year Fixed Term)

The School of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences at Victoria University is seeking to
appoint a Postdoctoral Fellow in Remote Sensing. Remote sensing has been identified as an area of
strategic importance within the School.

The position will be for a term of 1 year (full-time) starting on 1 June 2018. The fellow will undertake
remote sensing research and teaching. Preference will be given in the appointment process to
applicants with expertise in meteorology, environmental science, geodesy/tectonics, or glaciology,
although other areas of expertise may be considered.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in remote sensing or a cognate discipline such as meteorology,
geophysics, physical geography, geospatial analysis, or surveying/geodesy/geomatics, and a track
record of peer-reviewed publications commensurate with experience.
