Thread: I have problem to install SAC binary on my Mac

Hi Hessam,
If you post your error messages, some one could diagnose the problem. I've
found that installing the linux version even on a Mac is straightforward
and error-free if you follow the instructions properly. Perhaps you should
try this.

Dear Hessam,



Installing SAC on windows is a bit headache and need a lot of package to be
installed.

If you want to install SAC on windows you need to install Cygwin first and
all its dependents packages.

I once installed SAC on Windows before, a long time a ago.

But later I moved to Linux.



If you want SAC on windows follow this link for Cygwin:

Cygwin is a Linux like environment on Windows. But not a real Linux.

So better for you to install the real Linux on Windows and then work with
any software supporting Linux system.

So, to install SAC on a real Linux environment at Windows OS by using Oracle
Virtual Box(the secret), then installing the Ubuntu Linux and then
installing SAC. May be the installation look like complicated but the steps
is clear and very effective on using any future software's supporting Linux.



Installation by order:

1-Oracle Virtual Box

2-Ubuntu

https://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop



3- SAC
