Dear Colleagues,

I'd like to draw your attention to our session, T012 (De-)Cratonization
Dynamics, at the upcoming Fall 2018 AGU meeting in DC, described in detail
below.

Please note the abstract submission deadline is Wednesday, August 1, 2018
at 23:59 EDT. and the meeting will be held on December 10-14, 2018 in
Washington D.C.

Session Title:
T012 (De-)Cratonization Dynamics

Session Description:
Cratons can record a complex genetic history, both within them and at their
margins, including patterns that are compatible with subduction/accretion
processes and continental rifting. This complexity can be addressed through
integrated tectonic studies based on geophysical imaging techniques,
geochemical and isotopic studies and geodynamic modelling. We invite
contributions that address the structural and compositional aspects of
craton formation and craton destruction globally, as well as studies that
compare cratonic lithosphere to continental regions of younger age.
