Dear Friends,
We've had a few people ask about an Earthworm course around the time of
AGU. If there's enough interest, we will consider running it as a 3-day
intensive course, so we're asking the list here... ANY INTEREST? If so,
please reply via our contact form on isti.com by 1 November 2018.

We’ll cover
-
Earthworm refresher: A quick lesson on the EW basics in case people have
forgotten how the core architecture works and the basic commands
-
Advanced topics like magnitudes and ground motion values
-
New tricks e.g. Python, SeisNetWatch
-
Earthquake location
-
Running NonLinLoc and Hypoinverse with Earthworm
-
Tuning of participants’ binder and locations
This course will be for folks who have a basic Earthworm knowledge or want
to learn quickly how to lash up a system. Everyone will go home with a
working EW system or a better tuned one if you already have a system
running at your network.
If pre-AGU timing doesn't work for you, ISTI will be holding our popular
annual 5-day course in lovely Saratoga Springs, NY in June of 2019. An
example of that annual 5-day spring course may be found here:

For pricing inquiries, please note your course of interest. We’re looking
forward to hearing from you.
