Thread: Upcoming CIDER Workshop (9th of December, 2018, Washington DC) and 2019 Summer program - please mark your calendars

Dear Colleagues,

We wish to bring to your attention two upcoming CIDER events:

1) The pre-AGU CIDER workshop will take place at Carnegie Institute of
Washington (DTM), close to the location of the AGU meeting, on Sunday the
9th of December, 2018, in the afternoon. It will feature keynote talks by
Rich Walker and Diana Roman on themes related to the 2018 and 2019 summer
programs, as well as presentations by research groups formed during the 2018
CIDER summer program. The workshop is open to all, and in particular those
of you that haven't been to CIDER yet and are curious about it. A

2) The 2019 CIDER Summer Program will take place at U.C. Berkeley, from the
17th of June to the 12th of July, 2019 on the theme of Volcanoes. An
