We are pleased to again announce the Summer of Applied Geophysical Experience (SAGE) program for 2019.

Program dates: June 17 - July 12, 2019.
Application deadline: Sunday, March 31 at 8:00pm EDT.

SAGE is a four week graduate and advanced undergraduate research and education program in exploration geophysics based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA. SAGE students, faculty, and visiting scientists acquire, process and interpret both near-surface and basin-scale geophysical data, including reflection and refraction seismic, magnetotellurics, electromagnetics, GPR, gravity and magnetics. We particularly encourage applications from 1) qualified undergraduate students who will have completed their junior year and the requisite physics and math before SAGE, and 2) qualified graduate students, postdocs, academic faculty and industry professionals in all stages of their careers. All qualified applicants, including international students, are welcome. All enrolled participants will be asked to provide a $750 course fee to cover room and board for the duration of the program.

Please note that 12 days of SAGE will be spent camping in a front-country group campsite while we do field work in the Valles Caldera National Preserve. Food and camping support will be provided but students should bring personal camping equipment (tent, sleeping bag, etc.). The second half of SAGE will be spent living and working on the Santa Fe Indian School campus, lodging in dormitory style accommodations.

Additional information about SAGE, including links to application materials can be found at the SAGE website: https://summerofappliedgeophysicalexperience.org.
