Dear IRIS,

I noticed that the start date for at least two data channels have suddenly
changed, meaning data that was previously available are no longer.

Specifically, the AK.RC01.EP.BDF and AK.SKN.EP.BDF channels are currently
listed as starting on 2019-03-26. However, I have previously downloaded
data from these channels for e.g., December 2016, with corresponding
inventory information / xml files. There are no other BDF listings for
these channels that I can see, e.g., archived under different location
codes.

To illustrate, here are snippets from an inventory file downloaded through
the ObsPy IRIS client in January 2019. The channel start dates are 1998 and
2006 respectively.

Station RC01 (Rabbit Creek, AK, USA)
Station Code: RC01
Channel Count: 1/49 (Selected/Total)
1998-08-07T00:00:00.000000Z - 2599-12-31T23:59:59.000000Z
Access: open
Latitude: 61.09, Longitude: -149.74, Elevation: 390.0 m
Available Channels:
RC01.EP.BDF

Station SKN (Skwentna, AK, USA)
Station Code: SKN
Channel Count: 1/78 (Selected/Total)
2006-05-15T00:00:00.000000Z - 2599-12-31T23:59:59.000000Z
Access: open
Latitude: 61.98, Longitude: -151.53, Elevation: 581.0 m
Available Channels:
SKN.EP.BDF

I'm not sure if the channels were renamed as something hard to find, the
'access' has changed, or there are other channels where this has happened,
but I assume such changes would also be earmarked as starting on 2019-03-26.

Thanks for any insights.
