Contentious Communication from the Classroom to the Chat Room: How to Have
Productive Conversations about Emotionally Charged Topics*

This session will examine the dynamics of communicating contentious topics
in the geosciences, with implications for more scientifically based policy
decisions, better learning outcomes in classrooms, more productive online
conversations, and greater appeal to diverse audiences.

Deadline for abstract submissions is June 25th.
