Dear MUSTANG:
I was wondering if it will be possible for us to have our nodal data set
http://ds.iris.edu/mda/ZE/?starttime=2019-02-11T00:00:00&endtime=2019-03-26T23:59:59
run through MUSTANG. We are particularly interested in examining noise
spectra and noise spectrograms.
Here's an example of two web service commands -- the one for nodal station
1001 does not return anything, which may indicate that the data have not
been run through MUSTANG.
For 1001:
http://services.iris.edu/mustang/noise-psd/1/query?net=ZE&sta=1001&loc=--&cha=DP1&quality=M&starttime=2019-03-01T00:00:00&endtime=2019-03-02T00:00:00&correct=true&format=plot&nodata=404
For NSKI:
http://services.iris.edu/mustang/noise-psd/1/query?net=ZE&sta=NSKI&loc=*&cha=HHZ&quality=M&starttime=2017-03-01T00:00:00&endtime=2017-03-02T00:00:00&correct=true&format=plot&nodata=404
Thanks,
Carl

2019-08-05 13:09:52Hi Carl,
We are not yet running MUSTANG metrics on experiments in our PH5 repository, but we expect to start doing so in the near future. I think we have just about solved all the technical issues with running a first pass through PH5. We don’t have an estimate for how long it will take to calculate metrics for the entire repository, but we can start with 2019 experiments if you’re willing to be a guinea pig.
cheers,
Gillian

2019-08-05 12:45:55Hi Gillian,
This is great news. If you try this out, please consider using ZE 2019.
Kyle and I would likely be able to analyze the spectra and provide
feedback. The spectra are powerful for characterizing site properties --
including things like deep basins.
Thanks,
Carl
