The Geophysics Department at Sandia National Labs is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Geophysicist, Seismologist, or Acoustic Seismologist with interest and experience in seismic field campaign proposals, planning, design, execution and analysis. The selected candidate will be supporting a wide variety of national-security projects. Examples are border security/surveillance, ground-based nuclear explosion monitoring and treaty verification, fossil energy upstream oil & gas, waste disposal monitoring, climate change, and site geologic characterization. We seek individuals with experience in geophysical methods of both passive- and active-source seismology.
