Hi Tsitsi,
I think the simplest way could be to synchronize your files at first.
This will
fix a common origin time for all the seismograms, setting the beginning
time in accordance, with beg=0 for the latest file and beg<0 for
the others. Then you should write the seismograms on temporary files
a read them again after setting the cut range from zero to the desired time.
Ex.:
r file1.sac file2.sac
synch
write change .sac .cut
cut 0 1000
r file1.cut file2.cut
w over

Hi Sac Users
I have 2 sac files (examples attached). Their start times are 09:49:50 and
09:46:43
I would like to cut off the start times so that both files would start at
the same time,
say, the start time of the 9:49:50 file.
How can I make use of the synchronize and cut commands to achieve this? The
end
goal is be able to perform some math on these files with matched times for
corresponding
points?
Thanks.
