There's not currently a way to screen out the phases, but this is an interesting idea and it might be relatively easy to do, so I'll look into it.
The only filter for the waveforms within the record section is the option to hide the station if no data is found. Beyond that, it operates on the selected rows in the table, so that would be the place to make changes.
The ability to tweak the selection from the record section has been a long-standing request, but it gets complicated. Even the simplest version -- rather than hiding a station if no data is found, just remove it entirely from the underlying request -- gets hung up by the fact that the record section only shows one channel, so missing that one channel doesn't necessarily mean that the entire station is missing.
