Hi all.
Wish you a very Happy New Year...!!
I would like to calculate the mean of several receiver function traces and
wanted to shade the standard deviation portion of it. How can I do it in
SAC?.
Thank you in advance.
With Kind Regards

George Helffrich2021-01-03 08:36:50Dear Mukesh Kumar Das -
Make a trace with the standard deviation value. Set the LINE FILL option to your preferred color and plot it twice: once with the (positive) std. dev. value (and positive fill), and once again with the negative of the std. dev. value (and negative fill). Then turn fill off and plot your RF trace over the two others.
There will be further details you will need to handle (multiple plots in the same frame, file id, line style details, axis labels) but this gives you the general approach.

Mukesh Das2021-01-03 22:17:21Thank you for your email, George.
Could you please elaborate on this more? To follow what you have said, I
need std deviation values associated with each sample of the stacked trace.
Kindly tell me how to get these std deviation values.
With kind regards.
