The Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Missouri, in Columbia Missouri, is soliciting applications for opportunities for funded Master's Degrees in solid earth geophysics. These opportunities span wide range of geophysical fields including shallow active source imaging, passive source lithospheric scale seismic imaging, geodynamic modelling of plate boundaries, and fault mechanics.

The University of Missouri (MU) has a diverse and welcoming faculty with opportunities for doing world class geoscience research, field work and for gaining teaching experience. MU has a long track record of preparing graduate students to be competitive for jobs with federal and state agencies in geoscience, private sector careers.
