Dear all,

I downloaded data covering a large time span from II.CMLA.00, that goes though several different instruments. I found that the azimuth in SAC header of the station installed in 2019-06-07T00:00:00 (158) (Streckeisen STS-6 Seismometer) is 355.3º while azimuth in the Metadata Agregator is 300º.
Azimuth 355.3º belongs to the Geotech KS-54000 Borehole Seismometer that was operating between 2010-03-28T00:00:00 (087) - 2016-09-02T23:59:59 (246) and 2016-09-03T00:00:00 (247) - 2019-03-26T23:59:59 (085).

I wonder know what is the correct azimuth to II.CMLA.00 with Streckeisen STS-6 Seismometer.

Yours,
João Fontiela

    Hello João,

Apologies for the slow reply. As far as I can tell, the MDA version is correct -- the azimuth of this instrument appears to be 300°. It sounds like the data you downloaded shows a different value -- could you provide more information about how/where you got this downloaded data?

    Thanks!
    Adam
