Thread: call for talks (full-length and lightning) for GAGE/SAGE Workshop on DAS

Please join us for the Distributed Acoustic Sensing: Scientific Frontiers
and Community Needs workshop Aug. 13, 2021 from 11 am - 3 pm ET as part of
the 2021 GAGE/SAGE Workshop. This half-day online workshop is being
organized by the DAS RCN.

*We are seeking submissions for pre-recorded lightning talks and a few
selected full-length talks.* We especially encourage those talks that
highlight:

Low-frequency DAS and geomechanics observations
-

Environmental seismology
-

Infrastructure, engineering, near surface applications
-

Cryosphere & hydrology applications
-

Time-lapse imaging and monitoring
-

Deployment techniques and data management in the field

If you are interested in presenting a lightning talk or potentially being
selected to give a full-length talk, please *fill out this Google Form *
https://forms.gle/ZTKXYqpbfSKXC4366 with your title, brief description and
contact information *by Friday, June 25*. Only talk descriptions submitted
by June 25 will be considered for part of the live program, but other
lightning talks submitted later may be included in the YouTube playlist of
lightning talks. Lightning talk recordings will not be due until a few days
before the event.
