Revealing Earth Systems: Integrating Spatial and Temporal Data
This workshop stretches across disciplinary boundaries and focuses on elements that are common to the diverse disciplines and applications within geodesy and seismology. It highlights synergies between the geodetic and seismic communities in time, space, and methods for approaching datasets and changes in the Earth System. It provides an opportunity to learn about cutting edge research, engage with other members of the community, and expand technical skills.

The workshop will be held virtually.
The main workshop days will be Tuesday-Thursday August 17-19, 2021.
Short courses will be August 9-13 and a few other activities will be August 16 and 20.
Early bird registration is June 1-July 1 - $100 regular/$30 student
Full price registration thereafter - $130 regular/$40 student
Participants at institutions in low and low-middle income countries may request a fee waiver (community<at>unavco.org <community<at>unavco.org>)

E-lightning Poster abstract submission deadline: July 1, 2021. The abstract submission link will be in the confirmation email sent to you after you register. There is no additional fee for abstract submission.

Plenary sessions https://gage-sage-2021.us2.pathable.com/plenary-sessions
Behavior at and Coupling Across Key Earth Interfaces
Illuminating Transients in Earth Processes
New Approaches to Processing Big Geophysical and Geospatial Datasets
Breakout sessions
Special Interest Group sessions (SIG) for community updates and input discussions
Professional Development Mini-courses (PDM) to learn more on certain geophysics-related topics
Short courses https://gage-sage-2021.us2.pathable.com/short-courses - topics include geodesy, seismology, and workplace climate

This meeting is the equivalent of the UNAVCO and IRIS Science Workshops, which were previously held separately. The first joint workshop https://www.iris.edu/hq/workshops/2019/10/earth_in_4d was held in Portland, Oregon in October 2019.
