Dear Geophysics Community Members

We are getting closer to the virtual GAGE/SAGE 2021 Community Science Workshop The main workshop days will be Tuesday-Thursday August 17-19, 2021, with a few other activities August 16 and 20.
A variety of short courses are being offered the week before (August 9-13).
Short Course Registration Deadline: August 1, 2021
REGISTER HERE -- for both the main workshop and short courses*

Technical short courses include a range of options in both geodesy and seismology.

The two Workplace Climate short courses are particularly valuable for anyone looking to promote a more positive work/school experience for everyone. Although there is an initial registration fee for these, all participants who actually attend a workplace climate course will have their registration fee refunded afterwards.
Improving Workplace Climate: Boost Your Satisfaction and Success in Graduate School - STUDENTS-ONLY (Tuesday August 10, 4:00 - 7:00 pm US Eastern Time)
Improving Workplace Climate: Increasing Inclusionary Behaviors in Your Department - NON-STUDENTS (Wednesday August 11, 4:00 - 6:30 pm US Eastern Time)

In addition to the Plenary, E-lightning Poster, various breakout, and Community sessions, this year’s GAGE/SAGE Workshop will also have two International Panels: Sharing Effective Practices for Infrastructure, Training, and Collaboration. These sessions are designed for scientists and students interested in learning more about recommended practices for international collaborations as well as opportunities available for researchers from countries with fewer science infrastructure resources.
