We are pleased to announce the release Mars models in the IRIS Synthetics Engine http://service.iris.edu/irisws/syngine/1 (Syngine) service. Syngine is a web service that returns custom synthetic seismograms based on parameters provided by the user. The addition of Mars models allows the service to generate synthetics for marsquakes and compliments the Mars event service https://ds.iris.edu/ds/newsletter/vol23/no1/531/release-of-the-new-iris-mars-event-service/ and InSight mission data available at IRIS https://ds.iris.edu/ds/newsletter/vol21/no1/511/mars-insight-mission-data-from-seis-now-open-to-the-public/.
