Dear Colleagues,

Registration is now open for the 2022 SAGE/GAGE Workshop to be held June 14-16th in Pittsburgh, PA. You can check out the meeting agenda, hotel/travel info, and complete your registration by visiting the workshop website: www.iris.edu/workshop

We look forward to welcoming friends and colleagues to Pittsburgh for a long-awaited face-to-face workshop highlighting the exciting science supported by the National Science Foundation's GAGE and SAGE facilities. The theme for this year's workshop is New Horizons: Advancing Seismology and Geodesy for both Science and Society. This workshop will focus on cutting edge geophysical results of processes in the solid earth, cryosphere, oceans and atmosphere and will highlight synergies between the SAGE and GAGE communities.

We also have a diverse collection of Special Interest Group (SIG) sessions that will serve as discussion forums for topics ranging from SZ4D and SAGE & GAGE facility activities, to the OBSIC facility and mentorship pathways in international collaborations.

Don’t miss out on the several pre-workshop short courses that will be held on Monday, June 13th (day prior to the start of the workshop). Short courses will touch on GNSS-IR, GAMIT/GLOBK, Data Services Identity Management, and MT at PASSCAL…among other exciting topics!

This year, for the first time, the SAGE/GAGE workshop will be offering a virtual registration option that will allow remote participants to view a livestream of the plenary sessions as well as a virtual poster gallery. We hope that you will consider joining us in Pittsburgh, but even if you can’t attend in-person, we encourage you to participate remotely via the virtual registration option.

Have questions? Feel free to reach out to Beth, Justin, or workshop<at>iris.edu.

Many Thanks,

Justin Sweet, IRIS workshop lead
Beth Pratt-Situala, UNAVCO workshop lead
