We invite postgraduate students, all researchers and practitioners to
_pre-register by February 8th_ for a short course and a workshop on the
following topics. Note that only pre-registered participants will

*Short Course, *"*Interrogating the Restless Earth*"*- 19th to 24th
March, 2023
*This short course provides a thorough introduction to linear and
nonlinear methods to interrogate the less accessible parts of the solid
Earth and oceans, including advanced methods such as uncertainty
assessment, variational methods and machine learning.

This retreat is a structured workshop which uses forward-looking
research talks to inspire new ideas in Earth dynamics and how to observe
them, and creates ventures (combined ideas, teams and plans) to conduct
research, write proposals, engage the public and solve problems in the
real-world.
