<< IRIS SEED Reader, Release 5.2 >>
Input File (/dev/nrst0) or 'Quit' to Exit: seed_gumbo.112055.seed
Output File (stdout) :
Volume # [(1)-N] :
Options [acCsSpRtde] : d
Summary file (None) : X4.summary.summary
Output Format [(1=SAC), 2=AH, 3=CSS, 4=mini seed, 5=seed, 6=SAC ASCII,
7=SEGY, 8=Simple ASCII(SLIST), 9=Simple ASCII(TSPAIR)] : 1
Output file names include endtime? [Y/(N)]N
Output poles & zeroes ? [Y/(N)]Y
Check Reversal [(0=No), 1=Dip.Azimuth, 2=Gain, 3=Both]: 0\
Select Data Type [(E=Everything), D=Data of Undetermined State, M=Merged
data, R=Raw waveform Data, Q=QC'd data] :E
Sample Buffer Length [20000000]:
Extract Responses [Y/(N)] : Y
Output data format will be sac.binary.

    Hello Mohit,

This is not really a SAC question, but I'll leave the list CC'd in case it is helpful to others.

It would be useful if you reported the operating system and version that you are working in.

If you are using a Linux based system this might be the OS killing your process because your system is running out of memory, the so-called Out-Of-Memory Killer at work, references:
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/726690/who-killed-my-process-and-why
    https://lwn.net/Articles/317814/

Also note that there is a more recent release of rdseed, the latest version is available here:
    http://www.iris.edu/dms/nodes/dmc/software/downloads/rdseed/

    regards,
    Chad
