Hello friends and colleagues,
Michigan Technological University and CUAHSI have opened the application
portal and begun advertising for the Summer 2021 International Research
Experience for Students (IRES) program in El Salvador. The program centers
around an 8-week interdisciplinary summer research experience for graduate
students in select communities of El Salvador from June 15 - August 6,
2021. We anticipate it will be different in 2021 due to the pandemic, but

Hello Seismologists!
We are excited to announce the return of the Seismology Student Workshop,
organized completely by and for seismology graduate students!
Typically, SSW is hosted at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory in
Palisades, New York. The 2021 Seismology Student Workshop will be held
*VIRTUALLY* from *Monday March 22 to Thursday March 25, 2021*. Due to
