The 2017 CIDER summer program will be held at UC Berkeley from June 21st to July 21st, on the theme "Subduction Zone Structure and Dynamics". This multi-disciplinary program includes a 4 week tutorial program for about 35 advanced graduate students and post-docs (June 25-July 21, 2017), while more senior scientists are welcome at any point in the program. Adam Dziewonski Memorial

Dear Friends of Adam, As you probably know, Adam Dziewonski passed away on March 1st after a brief battle with cancer. We are holding a memorial event on Sunday November 13, 2016 at Harvard University to honour and celebrate Adam's life and contribution. The details of the event are still being sorted out, but our current plan is to hold a gathering between 13:30 and 17:30 including a reception.
