Hi
Glad to hear that. If I find more issues I will send them in to the list.
The changes need to make CI_stations.xml valid is very minor, just
replace NumberChannels with TotalNumberChannels. The changes to
CI_BAR_resp.xml are more extensive, so perhaps removing that example
would be a good idea. Or pull a CI.BAR resp xml from the IRIS web
service. There still needs to be some hand editing to make it valid,
but much less than on the existing file. Just a thought.
How big of a revision to the stationXML schema do you anticipate? Is
this a major reworking or just a minor cleaning up of loose ends? Do
you have a draft revision yet? Would you be interested in comments on
the new version as well? As I am actively writing software to process
stationXML, I might have a useful perspective.
Thanks,
Philip
