Data from Chinese Academy of Science Transects now Available at the FDSN Data Center at the IRIS DMC
The Chinese Academy of Sciences collected data from 7 transects in NE China between the years 2000 and 2009. These transects include the following network codes, transect names, and deployment years.
In 2015 the CAS offered to make these data openly available to the international community through the IRIS DMC. These data are now fully available at the IRIS DMC without restriction. Users can consult the above table for the information necessary to make a data request.
Acknowledgements: these data were recorded as projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences using Reftek data loggers and Guralp CMG3 seismometers. Thanks go to Dr. Bruce Beaudoin, Director of the PASSCAL Instrument Center and his highly capable staff to help understand the metadata for these data sets. The conversion of the data to SEED format was done by Eliana Arias-Dotson and could not have been done without her capable assistance. To reference these data in a publication please make use of the FDSN DOIs available in the above table
