slinktool, the all-in-one SeedLink client for data stream inspection, data collection and server testing.

slinktool connects to a SeedLink server and queries the server for information or requests data using uni-station or multi-station mode and prints information about the packets received. All received packets can optionally be dumped to a single file or saved in custom directory and file layouts.

Building and Installation

In most environments a simple make will compile the program.

Using GCC under Linux or Solaris, running make static will compile a static version if the appropriate libraries are present.

GCC can be explicitly used by running make gcc.

In order to compile under Solaris the src/Makefile needs to be edited. See the Makefile for instructions.

For further installation simply copy the resulting binary and man page (in the doc directory) to appropriate system directories.

1 – Click the version release to view details about each package release including screenshots, manuals/how–to's, and revision histories. If more than one version is listed it means that a specific set of functionality was added or removed and legacy versions that preserve behaviors are archived.

2 – A list of changes that are not backwards compatible. More than one version of a package will be listed if this field has an entry.

3 – Development group(s) responsible. If IRIS and another group is listed, this usually means IRIS funded an external group for development.
