Thread: GAGE/SAGE Science Workshop - short course proposals

Dear Community Members

This is a last reminder that GAGE/SAGE Community Science Workshop short course proposals are due Wednesday February 26, 2020.

The GAGE/SAGE Community Science Workshop is the equivalent of the UNAVCO and IRIS Science Workshops, which used to be held separately. The first joint workshop was in Portland, Oregon in October 2019.

The 2020 GAGE/SAGE Workshop will be in Breckenridge, CO August 18-20. The day prior to the main meeting, Monday August 17, will be open for short courses on topics of interest to the community. We are currently soliciting suggestions for ½- or 1-day short courses or workshops you would like to see and/or that you would be interested to help offer. Costs associated with any proposed short courses (food, supplies, presenter costs) will need to be covered through short course registration fees, grant support, or facility sponsorship.

PS This is different than the Special Interest Group (SIG) proposal form https://forms.gle/2ARvsPaJoV73J1UX7 which was also sent out recently. SIGs occur during the main workshop.
