Hi
In my sac file header is missing KZDATE and KZTIME.
How I can add manually the date and time.
I have tried like
"ch O gmt 2016 001 00 00 00" and then "wh" but still date is not shown.
How to resolve the issue.

    It is a good idea you read a SAC's manual before or check the help.

    SAC > help ch
    .......

    SAC > CHNHDR O GMT 1982 123 13 37 10 103
    SAC> WH

    ou
    SAC> WRITE OVER

    Hi:

    After the "ch O gmt ..." command, you may try

    SAC> ch allt (0.0 - &1,o) iztype io

    to make sure the time scale has been changed to the "travel time"

    Then the kzdate and kztime will be the origin time rather than the time of the 1st data point.

    Or if your sac file contains no date and time information at all, then you can use the following commands to define the time of the first data point:

    SAC> ch nzyear 2016 nzjday 001 nzhour 0 nzhour 0 nzmin 0 nzsec 0 nzmsec 0
    SAC> wh
