Thread: Funded PhD studentship in seismology at the University of Leeds (UK)

We have a funded opportunity at the University of Leeds (UK) for a PhD studentship to start in October 2022. The student will work on “Mapping the properties of the subduction megathrust using seismic data”, supervised by myself, Prof. Sebastian Rost (Univ. Leeds), and Dr. Marianne Metois (Univ. Lyon). This project is funded by the Leverhulme Trust. This studentship is fully funded for 4 years, covering stipend and fees, and applications are open to both UK and international students. The project would particularly suite candidates with a background in geophysics, quantitative geology, or solid-Earth physics.
