Hi Rob, et al.
The School of Earth & Env Sciences at UQ have an unmanned Videoglobe, ( http://globalimagination.com/ ) with a 30day earthquake data image package that we use for outreach and teaching. Data files (.zip) of the latest monthly data were being downloaded from site: ds.iris.edu/seismon/videoglobe/30days ...and then we have scripts that unpack and process to run on the projector.
I noticed today that we haven't received updated data since the May 2022 package and am asking if the identity management for data access item mentioned in the April newsletter is maybe the reason why ?
Do you still offer 30day historic data files for download and if so, where from ?
Do you need me to organise additional account details, verification, user access, etc.
Do you want me to join the WebServices discussion and post this query there to assist others ??
Appreciate your reply,
Michael

Hi Michael,
Would you mind trying again using ds.iris.edu/seismon/videoglobe/30days.zip

Hi Michael-
I can assure you that our project for introducing identity management to data access is not a factor in your access to the data you are looking for.
Thank you for jumping in to help, Mladen! Hopefully we just had a blip in availability, easily solved.
Regards,
-Rob

Thanks Mladen, I have successfully downloaded the latest files using my desktop and copied them over to the unit.
The issue hasn’t been fully identified but it might have something to do with the python script we use to unzip and relocate the data file locally - prior to the Videoglobe software accessing the images. I have put a workaround in place now.
Really appreciated the quick response !!
Michael
