The Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) at the University of Colorado Boulder seeks applications for a Post-Doctoral Researcher in Seismology. The Post-Doctoral Researcher will conduct research in seismology with particular focus on analysis of ocean bottom seismic data from offshore Alaska. Specific project tasks include analysis of surface wave dispersion and seafloor compliance measurements to determine shallow oceanic and subduction zone crustal structure. This is a one-year position with a targeted start date of January 2023. PhD in seismology, geophysics, or related field, record of independent research and publication, and proficient coding skills are required.
