Thread: Permanent Researcher Position at Ifremer

Hello everybody,

We have an opening for a permanent researcher in geophysics specialising in fibre optic sensing in our research group, ALMA (Marine Geohazards), at Ifremer. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the group using distributed fibre optic sensing techniques in one or more of the following areas: earthquake characterisation, earth imaging based on ambient noise and act as a driving force in the development of innovative uses of fibre optic measurements in the marine environment in the context of earth sciences. Candidates should have a PhD in geophysics, particularly seismology or a related field.
