Thread: Qanterra Q330

Hi,

I have a question regarding the information stated in the Qanterra Q330 manual. It states, "By long-standing convention, Q330 parameter files place FBA sensor settings on channels 1-3 (sensor A), and seismological settings on channels 4-6 (sensor B)."

My question is: if the technical assistance installed the FBA on channels 4-6 (sensor B) and the seismometer on channels 1-3 (sensor A), does this configuration affect the recorded signal? Specifically, is the signal recorded by sensor A a velocigram? Additionally, how can we rectify the affected data?
