The Donets Basin formed during East European Craton rifting during Lat Devonian. The southern part of the basin was then subjected to uplift in Early Permian and compression in Late Cretaceous. The refraction part of this project was to compliment the DEEP Seismic Sounding data the did not record Pn arrivals because the maximum offset was not sufficient.
