The USGS acquired 2-D seismic profiles in eight locations in southern California from north of Palm Springs to the southeast side of the Salton Sea. Objectives were portions of the San Andreas, Banning, Mission Creek, and Garnet Hills faults. The data presented here are fully processed profile sections. Raw data is no longer available due to the degredation of the original recording media. Additional documentation of locations, acquisition, and processing is included in the supporting document list of this dataset.
