We will perform a seismic reflection survey on the snow-covered terminus of Taku Glacier in order to characterize the material at the bed of the glacier. Taku Glacier is an advancing glacier, and its advance is due to a build-up of sediments that protect the glacier from calving icebergs into Taku River, which crosses just below the terminus.
