NSF RAPID funded deployment placing 82 3-C Nodal geophones on Kilauea to record seismic signals related to the 2018 eruption. The 2 main goals of the project are to image the subsurface magma pathways that are supplying magma to the Lower East Rift Zone from the Summit and to better characterize the seismicity related to ongoing summit collapse.
