The main purpose is to detect and image the shallow subsurface beneath the lava tube system of La Corona (Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain), using active source seismology. The project builds upon previous geological background of the tube system, and the active source seismology will also be used to understand how similar investigations can be conducted on the Moon and Mars.
