Hello all,

Some days ago I requested seed data using JWEED software and then used
rdseed to extract SAC files. I also used summary file to put event
information into sac headers while extracting the sac files from seed using
rdseed, I am using rdseed 5.3.1. But it seems to me that OMARKER time in
these headers is not at right place. To give you an example.

SAC> lh

FILE: 2010.365.16.38.09.0150.XR.SC04..BHZ.M.SAC - 2
-----------------------------------------------

NPTS = 60400
B = 0.000000e+00
E = 1.509975e+03
IFTYPE = TIME SERIES FILE
LEVEN = TRUE
DELTA = 2.500000e-02
IDEP = UNKNOWN
DEPMIN = -8.250000e+02
DEPMAX = 1.571000e+03
DEPMEN = 3.371272e+02
OMARKER = -2.859e+07
KZDATE = DEC 31 (365), 2010
KZTIME = 16:38:09.015
KSTNM = SC04
CMPAZ = 0.000000e+00
CMPINC = 0.000000e+00
STLA = 3.452280e+01
STLO = -1.058119e+02
STEL = 1.944000e+03
STDP = 0.000000e+00
EVLA = 7.018000e-01
EVLO = -2.611270e+01
EVDP = 1.400000e+01
KHOLE =
DIST = 9.024891e+03
AZ = 3.046907e+02
BAZ = 9.527464e+01
GCARC = 8.111243e+01
LOVROK = TRUE
NVHDR = 6
NORID = 0
NEVID = 0
LPSPOL = FALSE
LCALDA = TRUE
KCMPNM = BHZ
KNETWK = XR
MAG = 5.500000e+00

Here OMARKER is the order of 10e+7, which is huge around 330 days and
certainly not right. Likewise, in all other files too the OMARKER is set at
very high value though the beginning time in all the traces is zero. Here
is the summary file corresponding to this event.

EVENT: 2010-12-31 16:30:55.3600,0.7018,-26.1127,14,MW,5.5

2010,365,16:53:19.0 iasp91

Please let me know what should I do to correct this.

Thanks

    Use SOD instead of jweed and rdseed. It will do all the processes and is
    able to put t0 and will give you sac file.
    http://www.seis.sc.edu/sod/
    I will send you an example of script in 1 or 2 hour. Now i am not in the
    office.
