Seismic Analysis Code Problem with "picks on"

I am using SEISMIC ANALYSIS CODE [06/12/2013 (Version 101.6)] on ubuntu 14.04 LTS, Recently I just used "picks on" option in order to get picks of time arrival every time I read and plot. But now this option is always on and every time I have to use "picks off" if I do not need it. In greater details the default option is always "picks on". now I want to know how can I change its default.

    You can change the default for your using SAC by adding a line to a “init.m” macro that runs every time you launch SAC. See sac/README.

    Also, you might consider upgrading to 101.6a, which can be obtained from IRIS.
