Dear Colleagues,

The 2022 SAGE/GAGE workshop is less than a month away (June 14-16th)! We’ve been blown away by the number of people who have registered to join us in Pittsburgh next month—if you’re still on the fence, it isn’t too late to get your late registration completed (but make sure to do so by Monday, June 6th). The full meeting agenda, hotel/travel info, and registration can all be found on the workshop website www.iris.edu/workshop

POSTERS
More than 110 people have signed up to present posters at this year’s workshop! You can now browse all of the submitted poster abstracts on the workshop website by clicking on the “Posters” tab. If you will be bringing a poster, here are a few key things to keep in mind:
1. Each presenter will be assigned a specific day and posterboard for their poster. In an effort to provide additional space for social distancing in the poster hall, half of the posters will be shown on Tuesday (6/14) and half will be shown on Wednesday (6/15). Presenters will need to remember to hang up (and take down) their posters on their assigned day. Emails will be sent out to presenters ahead of the workshop with your poster assignments (day and posterboard #).
2. Posterboard dimensions are 4 feet high by 8 feet wide. Please make sure to design your poster to fit within these constraints.
3. All poster presenters will be asked to upload a copy of their poster (pdf preferred) to our virtual poster hall on the Pathable meeting platform. More info on this will be forthcoming, but for now, please plan to have your poster finished and ready for upload beginning Monday, June 6th.

CROWDPASS VAX VERIFICATION
All in-person workshop attendees must provide proof of vaccination before traveling to Pittsburgh. If you’ve registered and have not yet responded to the email from our vaccination verification partner Crowdpass, please make sure to check your spam folder. As of today we still have ~60 people who have not uploaded their proof of vaccination and we need every single one of you to complete this process in the next few weeks. You can find a full list of our COVID safety practices on the workshop website www.iris.edu/workshop

VIRTUAL MEETING SITE
We will be launching our virtual meeting site in the next few weeks using the Pathable platform. All workshop participants (in-person & virtual) will have an account created for them on the virtual meeting site. The site will provide access to livestream and on-demand video of workshop plenary sessions, and will also allow posters to be viewed and shared with both in-person and virtual workshop participants. If you aren’t able to join us in Pittsburgh next month, we encourage you to register to attend virtually! You can register as a virtual attendee on the workshop website www.iris.edu/workshop
