Thread: Last Chance to Sign-Up! - DAS RCN workshop at AGU: “Managing Distributed Acoustic Sensing Data” - December 11, 2022 12-5pm CT

Please sign up now to participate in the DAS RCN workshop on “Managing
Distributed Acoustic Sensing Data” to be held at the Marriott Marquis on
the Sunday prior to AGU, December 11th, 12-5pm CT. Lunch will be provided
for in-person attendees and we plan to support virtual participation. You
do not need to be registered for AGU to attend.

The goal of this workshop is to discuss current practices, challenges and
solutions for managing large DAS datasets. It is widely recognized that DAS
datasets are some of the largest in geophysics, with more DAS data being
collected every day. The workshop will provide a forum for DAS
practitioners, data management facilities, and other interested parties to
come together to explore ideas, strategies and approaches for managing
these extremely large datasets. We encourage those who collect DAS
datasets, those who archive and distribute these datasets, and those that
use these datasets to share their experiences, requirements and solutions.

We are aiming for broad international participation, with a modest number
of speakers and plenty of time for discussion.
