Dear all,
I am trying to collect data from the IU network after the earthquakes in
Turkey. However, I have noticed that the traces are incomplete or that not
all the channels are available. To double-check, I downloaded data from an
earthquake I did it before without issues. Then, I realized the current
data is incomplete when it was completed some days ago. Why I had access to
the data some days ago and today, for the same event is the data incomplete?
The stations I got complete data but now the data is cut are ANTO, GNI,
KBS, KIEV, KMBO
Best regards,
Felix

Hello Felix,
I'm seeing data from these stations now, can you tell me more about the
time range of data you're requesting and when you requested it?
We've seen some reports of data being temporarily reported as unavailable
when it's 1-2 days old -- this is the point where the data gets transferred
from "realtime" storage to "archive" storage, and we're looking into the
possibility that there's a delay in updating the availability metrics to
reflect this.
If that's the case here, it appears to be a transient problem. This makes
it frustrating to work on, but it also means that retrying a query later
will usually work.
Cheers,
Adam
