Hi, Fabio.
I apologize for the tardiness, I was ill.
This is a great idea. Some of my products do offer shortened URLs.
For now, the shortest URL to the page you mention is

http://ds.iris.edu/latin_am/evlist.phtml

It is the same page, just the shortest possible URL.

Many thanks for this suggestion, I will search for places we may have that are using the longer URL to change to the shortened one.

Another suggestion is to take the URL (either the longer one you had, or the shorter one above) and copy/paste it into a URL shortener service.
For example, Google's URL shortener produces this, nice and short URL: https://goo.gl/dcvRgK

That is because I have comment to other people about you, and they say "How can I contact them to see what you are looking" and it is very dificult to memorize ... So, if you could have a short form to acces .... or if you have it, but I do not know, please inform me.
